Travelling with a golf luggage

Going on a golf holiday is always fun and exciting, but travelling with a golf luggage can cause some minor problems at times. When you are not going on a golf competition trip, then we suggest you take less than 14 clubs with you, because you feel more comfortable with a lighter travelbag.  

We kindly recommend you to invest in a good travelbag, because it keeps your clubs safe throughout the journey. Travelbags come with wheels and therefore it is easy to transport it.

Be aware that golf luggage transport with most of the airlines costs approximately 15-30€.

Travel Insurance

When ordering a Travel Insurance, make sure that it covers both you and your golf luggage, as some of the Insurance contracts may not cover your golf bag or lost luggage. It is necessary to always consult your travel agent and ask for a special sports equipment & travel Insurance.

How to pick a rental car?

When choosing a rental car, we suggest to pick a bigger one, if travelling with a larger party than 4. It is more comfortable to travel and makes your golf holiday more enjoyable as there is room in the car for people, golf bags and your personal luggages.

Golfer's travel reminder

Always make sure that you have your HCP sertificate ready to present. Most golf clubs nowadays tend to ask players their HCP sertificates and without presenting it, you may not be available to play at certain golf courses. You can contact your Club Secretary to get your certificate.
